The Consoli company was born in 1960 in Adrano, on the slopes of Etna, in Sicily; Volcanic and fertile land, which guarantees countless products with organoleptic properties and unique flavors.
Since its foundation, the Consoli family produces the “green gold of Sicily”, through a production process that extracts EVOO without processing waste. With the alternation of the generations, the company has also renewed itself, replacing the ancient lava stone millstones with the latest generation modern machines to obtain a high quality extra virgin olive oil.
The company processes the olives with a 2-phase continuous cycle system and cold extraction. Thanks to the innovative “Protoreactor” kneading times are drastically reduced, obtaining considerable energy savings as well as a greater organoleptic quality of the extra virgin olive oil, a consistent increase in polyphenols, a reduced number of peroxides and an increase in the shelf life of the oil.
STORAGE AND BOTTLING
For better conservation and duration of the quality of the EVOO, we have a department with stainless steel silos at a controlled temperature 24h/24h. Furthermore, we have an automatic bottling machine, which guarantees us short times from order to delivery.
ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT 0
Thanks to new production techniques and continuous collaboration with universities, only noble products are obtained from the entire production process, which are used in the livestock, pharmaceutical and cosmetic sectors, not producing processing waste.
Following the same philosophy, the Consoli company uses only energy from renewable sources and ecological fuel obtained from the pit of the olives.
